What Adviterra Club was about: Digitization is not a trend. It is a path that every company must take.

October 10, 2025

Digital tools, automation, and process management are no longer the preserve of large companies. Even in accounting and consulting firms, they determine whether they can grow or get bogged down in a mess of spreadsheets and emails.

That is why we addressed this topic at the Adviterra Club on October 7, where we openly discussed with our partners and guests how digitization is changing the day-to-day operations of companies: from process setup and automation to real savings in time and energy.

Why we decided to digitize

  • "I thought we had well-established processes—until Ľuboš joined the company," admitted CEO Ján Svočák right at the outset. The arrival of a new team member brought an outside perspective, and with it the realization that what worked for a smaller team was no longer sufficient for a larger one.
  • "Without processes and digitization, it is impossible to grow beyond a certain point. This is precisely why many accounting firms are unable to exceed a turnover of half a million euros," added Ľuboš Čandik, Chief Operating Officer, who currently heads the internal processes division at Adviterra.
  • Both openly admitted that the transition from Excel was not easy."Stopping using Excel was painful, but necessary. We also made a mistake: after the transition, we relied solely on new tools, but it took a while to realize that digitization is not just about software, but about changing the mindset of the entire team," summarized Ján Svočák.
  • A vision for the future was also expressed on the club stage: "Our ambition is not just to have a digitized accounting firm. We want to be a model for how digitization can be used to work more efficiently, not more."

How processes change a company – Lukáš Adamec from MojeSidlo

  • The guests then moved on to the topic of process automation, which was discussed by Lukáš Adamec, CEO of MojeSidlo, the largest provider of virtual offices in Slovakia.
  • "Processes are for every company. The question is not whether you need them, but when you will start using them," he explained. According to him, the key step is to analyze activities: find out who can do a given activity and how often it is repeated.
  • Automation can be built on precisely such tasks, and Lukáš also showed real-life examples, such as an automated recruitment process or the use of AI in process creation and recording.
  • "Today, we already have an internal wiki and even podcaststhat help new colleagues understand the company more quickly. And yes, even cleaning the coffee machine has its own process," he added with a smile.
  • His main message? "Processes save experienced people time. They allow them to focus on what has real added value."

Digitization as a never-ending process

The conclusion was a panel discussion between representatives of Adviterra and Shifra.

They discussed issues that concern many companies:

  • Is it better to start with Excel and later switch to a "boxed" solution?
  • Do I need an advisor when choosing a CRM?
  • Is a low-code/no-code solution or in-house development more advantageous?

The discussion was conducted in a spirit of consensus:

"Digitization is a never-ending process. It's not something you can do once and consider it done."

And perhaps that is precisely where its strength lies – continuous improvement that brings stability, efficiency, and room for growth to companies.

The Adviterra Club has once again shown that openly sharing experiences is the best source of inspiration.
Digitalization is not about having more tools—it's about being clear about what we do, why we do it, and how we can do it better.

We look forward to working with you.
