Starting January 1, 2027, invoices sent via email in PDF format will no longer be sufficient in cases specified by law. They will be replaced by structured e-invoices—documents that accounting or invoicing systems can read and process automatically.

It sounds like a technical change. In reality, it will affect how your company issues invoices, how you receive supplier documents, and how you share them with your accountant.

At the Accounting Breakfast, we’ll sit down over coffee to discuss who these new requirements apply to, how they’ll work in practice, and what your company needs to prepare before they take effect. No 60-slide presentation—just plenty of time to ask questions about your specific situation.

What awaits you at breakfast

e-Invoice vs. PDF Invoice: What's the difference, and why is a regular invoice sent by email no longer sufficient in many cases?

Requirements Starting in 2027: Who will be required to issue e-invoices, and who will need to be able to receive them.

VAT Payers and Non-VAT Payers: Whatexactly lies ahead for each group, and how do their obligations differ?

Peppol and the Digital Postman: How Invoices Will Be Sent and Received Securely, and What Role the Digital Postman Plays in This Process.

Received Documents Without Transcription—This is the feature that will actually save you time. Today, someone downloads a supplier’s invoice from email, transcribes it or scans it, and forwards it. With eFaktúra, the document arrives directly in the system along with all the data—no retyping, no forgotten attachments, and no guesswork about whether the invoice even arrived. Let’s take a look at what this means for your administrative work and financial closings.

Setting Up Accounting and Business Processes: What to Check with the Provider of Your Accounting or Billing System, Who Will Be Responsible for What, and How to Set Up the Transfer of Documents to Your Accountant.

Real-World Scenarios and Common Mistakes: Corrections, credit memos, duplicate documents, and an invoice that was “sent” but never processed. Using specific examples, we’ll show you what most often causes problems during the transition to e-invoicing.

eInvoices in Numiron — and from there to Pohoda. Numironwill act as a digital mail carrier through which our clients will send and receive eInvoices. The documents will be processed there and transferred to Pohoda, so you won’t have to retype anything, and we won’t have to manually search for supporting documents. Let’s see how it works in action.

A Taste to Wrap Things Up

On October 1, 2026, we’re launching Numiron Autonomous Accounting. eFaktúra is the first step—documents received in machine-readable format can be processed without manual intervention. We’ll show you where we’re headed at our breakfast meeting.

Who Is Breakfast For?

For business owners and executives, accountants, and those responsible for invoicing and document processing. Seating is limited by the venue’s capacity, so you’ll have the opportunity to ask specific questions—not just listen.

Breakfast is also open to companies that aren't currently working with us—if you're planning to switch to eFaktúra and want to know what to expect, you're welcome to join us.
