Starting January 1, 2027, a PDF invoice sent by email will no longer be sufficient in cases specified by law. It will be replaced by a structured electronic invoice—a document that an accounting or invoicing system can read and process on its own, without the need for manual entry.
For most companies, this boils down to three decisions: whether your invoicing software is compatible with eFaktúra, through which provider you’ll send and receive documents, and who in the company will be in charge of this. The sooner you make these decisions, the less it will cost you—by December 2026, software vendors will have their hands full, and you’ll have few options left.
In this webinar, we’ll explain the basics in a simple, practical way—without using technical jargon that won’t help you anyway. We’ll also demonstrate Numiron—the digital mail carrier through which our clients will send and receive e-invoices—and show you how to open an e-invoice in it.
What you will learn in the webinar
- What is an e-invoice, and how does it differ from a PDF invoice or a scanned document?
- Since when has electronic invoicing been mandatory, and who is required to issue e-invoices?
- Who will be required to accept e-invoices—and how do the obligations of VAT payers and non-VAT payers differ,
- how invoices will be sent and received, and what the Peppol network is,
- What is the Digital Mailman used for, and why can't you send an e-invoice without it?
- whether you will need to switch invoicing or accounting software, and exactly what to check with the vendor,
- What to prepare within the company before launch—data, access rights, responsibilities,
- How to set up eFaktúra and start sending and receiving invoices through Numiron.
Who is this webinar for?
For sole proprietors, business owners and executives, VAT payers and non-payers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and people who issue or process invoices for your business. In short, for anyone who wants to understand e-invoicing before they have to use it.
Why Come
The transition to e-invoicing is not just a change in the document format. It affects your invoicing software, the receipt of supplier invoices, communication with your accountant, and your company’s internal processes. If any of these issues aren’t resolved, you’ll either fail to send the invoice, or you’ll send it and no one will process it.
In just one hour during this webinar, you’ll learn what’s changing starting in 2027, how these changes apply to your business, and what steps you need to take. This is cheaper than finding out in January when the actual invoices come in.
